Hing Weng Eric TSANG is a Hong Kong-based filmmaker and artist. Graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, his short film A Thousand Sails (2019) was selected by Sundance Film Festival, Busan International Short Film Festival and won the 2019 Sundance Film Festival Hong Kong Short Film Competition Jury Award. Another short film The Umbrella (2018) earned several awards including Fresh Wave Award in Hong Kong. Funded by The 5th First Feature Film Initiative, Eric is now preparing for his debut feature film ?The Winter Solstice?.
