Docs by the Sea 2019
From 112 applicants, 23 projects from Southeast Asia (including 9 from Indonesia) were selected to participate in the Storytelling Lab, Editing Lab, or Creative Producing Lab of Docs By The Sea Incubator 2019. Apart from the intensive mentoring sessions and masterclasses, they also received opportunities to conduct one-on-one meetings with 5 international guests from NHK Enterprises (Ken-Ichi Imamura), Screenwest Australia (Franziska Wagenfeld), DMZ Docs (Ellie Jo & Kim Young Woo), Boda Media Group (Sinae Ha), and Institut Français d’Indonésie (Matthieu de Faucal). One of the selected project, Last Days at Sea (Under the Stars) got cash prize of USD 2,000 from Boda Media Group to further finish the project.
