Yaël Bitton is an editor working internationally. She mentors and works with many emerging filmmakers, accompanying them in their creative process. Additionally, she works as a mentor for various workshops and labs, a consultant for Rough Cut Service, and a tutor at the HEAD in Geneva. Some of her credits include Invisible Demons, which she co-wrote with Indian director Rahul Jain (World Premiere in Cannes Film Festival, Best Documentary in Finnish Jussi Award); Advocate by Rachel Leah Jones and Philippe Bellaiche (Best Documentary in Emmy Awards, Asia Pacific Screen Award, Best Editing in Israeli Film Awards); Radio Silence by Juliana Fanjul (Sima Editing Awards).
She has been working in France, the US, and Switzerland. As she mentors and works a lot with emerging filmmakers, she is known to be supportive to the filmmakers and their process. She currently works as an editing tutor at dok.incubator, while tutoring students at the HEAD/Cinéma du Réel in Geneva.
