DIANA EL JEIROUDI
DIANA EL JEIROUDI is an independent filmmaker, screenwriter as well as a supporter of narrative documentary cinema. She started as a filmmaker at age 25 and was best known for DOLLS - A WOMAN FROM DAMASCUS (2007) and MORNING FEARS, NIGHT CHANTS (2012). She produced several award-winning documentaries most notably SILVERED WATER - SYRIA AUTOPORTRAIT by O. Mohammad & W. S. Bedirxan (2014). Diana is awarded for her efforts in advancing the documentary culture and in supporting numerous filmmakers, through establishing DOX BOX as Syria�s 1st documentary film festival and training campus in 2007, and later the Berlin-based support association in 2014.
