Voices from Home
Relying on audio recordings and exclusive access to a restricted shelter run by a welfare group in Singapore, foreign domestic workers from Indonesia, India, Myanmar, and the Philippines give a rare, personal insight into their hidden plight in the private sphere of their employers' households since COVID-19 swept through the city-state.

The intimate conversations were part of the cases received by the Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics (HOME) through their helpline during the partial lockdown in Singapore in April 2020. As nobody in their families back home knows of their current conditions, lending their voices in the film is their only chance to tell their story.
