Five years ago, my mother became paralyzed after a brain tumor operation, and since then our family has embarked on a difficult journey of rehabilitation.

The prolonged caregiving for my paralyzed mother left my father no room to breathe. He suppressed his own needs and gradually lost his health and personal life. While attempting to find new ways to balance caregiver and care recipient dynamics, I observed my father remaining trapped in this pattern. This compelled me to contemplate how caregivers might reclaim their vitality within familial predicaments.
