Surrounded by the lingering shadows of a transformed city, our director, now in his late thirties, invites six high school graduates to participate in a Super-8 film project for an exhibition in Norway. Deeply at a crossroads in his own life, he finds himself searching for an anchor through these teenagers.
In them, he projects everything he has yearned for since his own adolescence but never truly possessed: friendship, raw vitality, and the bold courage to action. Ultimately, this film becomes his visceral cry, a confession that channels his profound longing for a youth he feels he missed, while confronting his creeping, quiet fear of fading into middle age having achieved nothing. This intimate reckoning unfolds on screen by interweaving the nostalgic home videos shot by his father with his own gazing lens upon the present-day lives of the six teenagers.
