A masked god and a forgotten rebel wander through a landscape shaped by exploitation.
Set in western India, this epic film moves between mythology, memories of exploitation, existential crises, and political struggle. A masked god wanders through a landscape marked by extraction and migration; a political organiser helps families fight for land rights while villagers reconstruct a historic revolt for the camera; a filmmaker returns to a transformed village to retrace the life of a journalist whose death continues to haunt him; and artists draw stories from the fields, forests, animals, and rituals that surround them. As gods become human, landscapes are remade, a revolt is reconstructed, and images emerge from everyday labour, the film traces how communities remember, resist, and endure amidst profound social and economic transformation.
